Hi,
I am trying to create a simple fillable form in Word XP. I create a
template, design the form, add form fields for each area that I want user
input, protect the document and save it. When the form is opened again, I
can only place the cursor in the field boxes, which is what I want. What I
don't want, is for the user to be able to type a long answer and have it
adjust the form by moving text that should be locked. For example: I have
the word "Name" at the top left with a form field next to it. On the SAME
row, halfway across the page is the word "Date" with another field next to
it. When I start to type a name in the locked form, it affects the actual
word "Date" and drops it down on the page, along with the othere locked
text.
Is there any way to truly lock the form so that it never moves and the users
can only enter text in the fields?
Any help is much appreciated.
