I am used to the pc excel so I am a little confused on how to keep a constant in the formula locked. For example I want to subtract N2 from each individual C column and put the results in column D. How do i lock in the formula so that N2 remains constant?

Hi,

In this regard Excel for Mac and Windows is identical.

Put dollar signs into the cell formula. To always refer to cell N2 type
$N$2
