Locking a graphic in a Word document

I created letterhead for my Mom in Word and she has a picture of a rose 1/2
way down on the right hand side, but everytime she types when it gets close
to the graphic it moves it down.
How can I lock this picture so it doesn't move and stays anchored in the
same position??

Thank you.

Anchor it to the header, positioned relative to page. Allow overlap = true.
move with text = false

Thanks for your reply but I don't understand what you mean?? Can you PLEASE
be more specific and give me step by step instructions to accomplish this..

1. Insert the graphic into the header, not into the body of the document.

2. Right-click. Select Format.

3. Go to the Layout tab. Click the Advanced button. Set the position
relative to the page.

If you insert a picure using this method and apply a caption, will the
caption show up in the table of figures??

Thank you ahead of time. Trying to get a picture stay put in Word is
driving me crazy!

If the figure is wrapped, the caption will by default be inserted in a text
box and will not be seen by a Table of Figures. In the body of the document,
you can get around this by inserting figure and caption both inline, then
inserting a frame around them, but a caption in the header will not be seen
by the TOF no matter what you do.
