Locking and Unlocking Graphics

I am designing an Engagement card for my daughter and her fiance in Microsoft
Office 2007 (Publisher) and I want to lock some graphics that I have used. I
am using both ClipArt and WordArt in Text Boxes with a coloured background.

There isn't any way to lock images. You can put them on the master page so they
can't be moved around inadvertently (ctrl+m). Publisher can have any number of
Master pages.

Seems like putting them in/on the page where you want them and then using
SAVE would lock them in?
If you made a mistake, the saved file would still be there.

That's what the Undo button is for. Locking helps when you have lots of
object on the page, most of which you don't want to work with - it makes
selecting the objects you DO want to work with easier.

Try convwerting the publication into a pdf format. You can download the same

a) I know how to convert to a PDF
b) How is converting to a PDF even remotely applicable to the problem
described in this thread?
