Locking boxes after entry

I want to be able to lock an entry that I have entered while at the same time
be able to enter a new entry. Is this possible I know how to enable and
dissable boxes but if I do that, that means I am unable to add new entries.
Anyone know how to acomplish this?

I figured out a way to do this...
In the forms properties I set the following:
ALLOW ADDITIONS: YES
ALLOW DELETIONS: NO
ALLO EDITS: NO
