locking down office 2003

H

Harlett O'Dowd

Most of my Office 2003 users are pretty self-sufficient, but I have
one problem child.

Problem is she will inadvertantly chnage her Office settings (either
as a one-off project or because she indavertantly fat fingers a CTRL-
or ALT- combination she doesn't want.)

Any way - next time she goes to print or do somethimng in office, her
defaults have changed, causing much wailing a gnashing of teeth.

I tried re-creating her profile and demoting her in Windows from a
local admin to regular user. That helps in Office, but she runs other
software where she *has* to be the local administrator in order to
have the functionality she requires.

SO

is there a way to *just* lock down Office 2003 to the equvalent of a
Windows User, but allow her local admin rights to the rest of her
machine? (or perhaps in reverse - allowing local admin rights on a per-
software package basis)

Thanks in advance.
