Locking Objects

Zach

I am having some difficulties with added objects, lines and text boxes,
shifting position on a chart when I email the sheet from within Excel 2000.
Every object seems to shift to the right in the emailed copy. I must be
missing something simple but still have not found the solution.

Just emailing the chart? How about emailing a picture of the chart. In
VBA you can use the command:

ActiveChart.Export ChartPathAndFileName.gif, "GIF"

If you don't want to use VBA, John Walkenbach's Chart Tools is a free
addin that does this, and more neat tricks. It's at http://j-walk.com.

Jon,

Thanks. I have John Walkenback's Chart Tools and never even gave it a
thought!

I am still wondering why the shift occurs for no apparent reason but will
use "Chart Tools" until I find the answer.

Thanks Again,

Zach
