Locking pages in Word

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Can you lock single page elements in a multi page document? (eg: first couple of pages are set, rest of doc need to be editable to a pc user) If so how, please?

Hi Carlz;

Once you can wrap your head around the fact that there are no pages in the
structure of a Word document it's easier to accept that the direct answer to
your question is "No" See this link:

However, what you're actually asking is possible using Section Breaks, then
applying protection (Tools> Protect Document - Forms) & specifying which
sections are to be protected.
