Hi there,
I am planning on sharing a Calendar throughout my office, for
different -delegated- people to make entries on.
I expect a single Calendar used by a handful of people, could soon become
bloated a bit messy, therefore I was thinking of ways to control the
usage...
Is there any way to lock delegate users access to create entries?
I have just worked out that you can create your own set of forms and I have
also realised that the Calendar can be filtered to defined views, this in
mind I was considering setting up a set of Forms for different people to use
depending on their role within the office. I could then set the default view
to only view entries made with my forms... However this direction would
require the following be possible:
1. Protecting the form, with a password or restricting it's use to selected
people (say, from the address book). I expect this would only be possible
with code on the open of the form?
2. Locking delegate ability to re-define my configuration views of the
calendar.
Can anyone provide feedback or guidance on the above points, or even direct
me to similar solutions?
Thanks
John
