Lockup in Outlook - utilities or tools please

I have reloaded outlook 2002 on XP several times. Outlook
freezes or hangs. Thi appears to be sometimes random and
sometimes in a specific folder.

Are there any diagnostic tools file repair.

I have used the detect and repair several times. Works OK
then fails again.

Whats going on?
