Log Out-of-Office replies

Is there somewhere that the outbound Out-of-Office messages are logged?
Maybe at the Exchange level and hopefully not buried in the regular logs.

One of my clients asked if it was possible to confirm that someone outside
the office received (or at least was sent) an out-of-office message when a
message came into the office.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Better ask in an Exchange newsgroup as it is not Outlook that is sending the
OOF messages but Exchange.
The exchange.admin newsgroup is probably the most appropriate one to ask
this.

AFAIK, no, its not logged somewhere separately, just in the usual logs. You
can look it up using message tracking - look for subject of out of office.

If you use Exchange 2007, the shell command is
get-messagetrackinglog -Sender "(e-mail address removed)" -EventID
"RECEIVE" -MessageSubject "Out of Office" -Start "9/22/2009 9:00:00 AM" -End
"9/24/2009 6:00:00 PM"
