I created a user and group accounts in Microsoft access
with a password( I forgot now).
Now, I was not able to open/create any database. The
microsoft access is asking for logon username and
password. How can I overcome? Please Help. Urgent.

Thanks

You either joined to a new workgroup information file (*.mdw) or you edited your
system.mdw file. Find the file named wrkgadm.exe on your hard drive. Activate it by
double-clicking on it. Does it show that you are currently joined to system.mdw?

If yes, then you apparently edited your original system.mdw file. Obtain a copy of this
file from another PC that has the same version of Access installed. With Access closed,
rename your system.mdw file to system.mdw.old, and then copy the replacement system.mdw to
the same folder.

If no, then determine the folder where your system.mdw file is currently stored. Use
wrkgadm.exe to browse to this file and join to it.

Note: If you have multiple versions of Access, then be careful to pick the correct files
to work with. The folder names should give you a clue.
