Logons to a SharePoint Site within PWA

It seems that a number of the users are asked for their Windows Logon again,
even tho they are logged into PWA. And even after re-doing the logon, they
cannot gain access to the SharePoint Page.

Can you offer any help on this ??

Thanks.

HI,
Just check if this work.
Open the internet information services.
Open the tree structure
Right click the default web sites option and select properties
Select directory security
Click on edit
Make sure on the authentication page only Integrated Windows Authentication
is checked.

Also make sure that the user who is trying to log on is a user created in
the corresponding site and has enough permissions
May be this should not ask for sign on again

Thanks

I did as you suggested. And the only box checked was Integrated Windows
Authenticaion.

The person who cannot get in has a SharePoint permission of View, insert,
edit, delete items, so it should be enough to enter items onto the page.

Perhaps I need to mention that this is an external to PWA SharePoint site.
My client hated the fact that each plan had it's own risks and issues, so we
built a separate SP site, on the PWA server, with a template that matched his
needs. That may be why the authentication is different.

Thank you for helping me.

I had someone locally try it and after three attempts it told them they did
not have permissions.

Is any of this, on a non-PWA generated site, have anything to do with
Categories and permissions in PWA ?
