Long Delay seeing ink

There is a long delay in seeing ink on the screen in OneNote. This only
happens in Portrait mode, not in Landscape mode, on my Toshiba M200 tablet
PC. I have downloaded the latest OneNote software and am running XP/SP2

Have you updated/reinstalled your graphics drivers since updating the XP SP2
and the Tablet PC Edition 2005? How much RAM do you have on the M200? When
was the last time you used Defrag?

Yes on the graphics drivers, 512mb and why would these issues impact portrait
mode, but not landscape mode on the tablet PC?

Having the proper graphics drivers is very essential on a Tablet PC because
of the four different orientations available, which is why I asked. I too
have an M200, and see no delays in OneNote at all, no matter the
orientation. Which Wacom driver are you using, and how much RAM is on your
system? When did you last Defrag?

I have 512mb of RAM and Wacom driver 5.1.2600.2180. I have not defragemented
in a while, but it would seem that would impact both traditional keyboard
(landscape) mode and tablet (portrait) mode.

Just offering some suggestions, since I'm running the same machine as you
(except with 1 gig RAM) and not seeing the problem. The latest Wacom
drivers for the M200 are here available for download here:

Thanks

Issue seems to have been a combination of the rotatioin program and the
graphics drivers. I did update after SP2, but the newer ones with a
reinstall of the rotation program made a difference.
