Friends

I have a long word doc created originally in PC/Word 2004. I opened in Mac 2008 in compatibility mode. I have not moved it to docx mode. When I attempt to do anything in page view at about page 180 where there is a section break (and format change to landscape) the document hangs.

Any ideas gratefully accepted. Here is the log . . .

Friends. I found the problem by opening the document in Win Word 2007. It turns out there was a corrupted table. Win Word figured that out and offered and "open and repair" option. Mac Word couldn't figure it out and from what I can tell does not offer this option. Too bad.

Mac Word does have a version of the "Open and Repair" function, it is just
not as powerful as the Word 2007 version.
