Long text cells not printing

I'm using Excel to make a large spreadsheet only containing text. In some of the cells (formatted as general), the text is quite long (in excess of 100 words). When I go to print the sheet, these long text cells appear blank. They also appear blank in print preview.

Is there a limit to how many characters may be in a cell for it to print?

Only the first 1024 characters will be visible or print. But they should
show up in print preview. M ake sure you printer resolution is set to the
highest value and that you have the latest print driver from the printer
vendor.

As Bob said, the limit is 1024 characters. But you can get more if you
include a hard CR (using Cmd-Opt-Return) at least one every 1024
characters.
