Long Time to Shutdown WORD

After applying SP4 on our W2K workstations, it takes a
long time for Word to shutdown. If we select FILE/EXIT
Word proceeds to SAVE NORMAL.DOT but it takes a while to
complete. If I un-install SP4 from W2K the WORD shutdown
(saving NORMAL.DOT) is quick. Any suggestions?
