Looking for a combined hdw/sw development project template

I am looking for a Looking for a combined hdw/sw development project template. I am working for a company developing a small consumer electronics device. The MS template library only has a sw project plan. Any thoughts? If you have a sample project plan and can share it, I would appreciate it.

There are a great number of such project plans w/in DOD
depending on how much detail you want. Look for Mil-std
499 ( I recommend version B which only existed as a draft
document) on the web.

It will cover design, test, pubs, training, software,
tooling, FCAs, PCAs - ad naseum.
