Looking for a date picker (popup calendar)

Does anyone have a recommendation for a date picker, that is, a popup
calendar to use to fill in date fields?

I don't know of any Mac-compatible date-pickers for XL. Obviously one
can use a Validation dropdown - post back if you want/need help.

I've got a custom Userform application that I include in some of my
commercial apps, but I haven't made it available stand-alone.

I've a picture of it at

If there's enough interest, I'll evaluate whether it's worth the effort
to disentangle it from its current code.

Thanks so much for the reply!

By validation dropdown, are you talking about just supplying a list of
dates? If so, I don't think my client would be too happy with that, as
the range of possible dates for each field is very large, and as a
result, the dropdown would be huge. However, if it's between that and
nothing, I should probably keep the idea on my list!

As far as your picture, that's exactly the type of thing I'm looking
for. Would it work in Excel 2004 on the Mac? I've found several similar
date pickers, but none are supported in Excel 2004 on the Mac.

By setting the validation list equal to a named range, you might be able
to manipulate the values in the range to limit the number of values
shown.

It works on MacXL98 through MacXL04. As I said, it's part of a larger,
proprietary application. I've been thinking of extracting it and making
it a shareware product, but it's definitely not ready for prime time yet
as a standalone.
