Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) In the 2007 edition of excel there was a button at the top called a "Cell Styles button" I can't seem to find it anywhere in the 2008 edition. With this button you could quickly format a cell by choosing a predefined style. Some of the options in this button were Heading1, Heading2, Titile,Total. Can anyone help me find this button or how to do the same thing.

Excel 2007 is the only version which currently offers that stuff.

You can, however, create whatever custom styles you prefer in Format> Style.
Type the name you want to use, remove checks for any categories of
formatting you want to exclude, then click the Modify button & choose your
formatting preferences.

Alternatively you can format a cell to your liking first, then go to the
Style dialog, type a name, click OK.

Apply your style by simply selecting the cell/s & choosing it from the list
in the Style dialog.
