I am trying to create a series of labs that will demonstrate most of
the features and advantage of using VSTO and the .NET Framework. I want
to create one lab for each office production such as Excel, Word,
InfoPath and Outlook. This part is easy, the reason I have come to you
is to see if you have come across a solution in your experience where a
single office solution required all of the office products to be used
together to solve a business problem. I am looking for a real world
example of how to tie all the applications together in the last lab as
a big bring it all together type on final learning session. If you have
an idea of a problem that would be solved by using VSTO and three or
more of the office products please drop me a line. Once again I am
trying to come up with a real world example and not just some made up
scenario where I use excel to do something then use word to retrieve
the data from excel and do something and then use InfoPath to do
something with the word document and finally have outlook email the
thing somewhere. I am looking for something based on a true real world
business problem if possible and not just an off the cuff type of
solution.
