chris

HI
I'm using microsoft project 98 for the first time, i know
what i want to do but can't find the columns to achieve it.
This is what i want to project to show

Budgeted work TIME SPENT TO DATE %COMPLETE
100HOURS 150HOURS 50

then in another colums i want project to forcast that the
total number of hours would now come to 300.

I hope someone can give me a hand, if not then could
someone point me in the right direction for some advise

thanks

Hi Chris,

1. Budgeted hours. These are called Baseline Work, and to populate it, you
have to save a baseline for the project at the onset ;

2. Time spent to-date is called Actual Work

3. % Complete is called % complete

4. Total Work is called Work.

5. One youy didn't ask, but comes in handy, is Remaining Work (much better
to record progress than % complete, let Project do the % calculation!)

Hope this helps,
