I can understand people¹s concern which is same as mine; you can¹t post all
personal information for everyone to see. However there is enough
information to initiate first contact from someone interested in working. To
set the record straight I don¹t need this information for anything else,
except for what is stated. If anyone doesn¹t feel comfortable, they don¹t
need to respond. And by the way I have had good response to my post; I just
need one helpful person.
There is no danger I can think of in including your real name. Once you're
giving your email address, what harm can come from giving your name? Even
those of us who post here using easily human-decipherable spoof email
addresses to discourage spambot emails post with our real names.
Your post subject is "Looking for an MVP". You've now had several replies
from MVPs making it clear what sort of response you're likely to get with an
approach asking for personal information but not divulging any. I'm glad you
found "one helpful person". What you actually need, of course. is "one
helpful person with the required skills". I hope you found that too. Just be
aware that most professionals with the required skills are not going to
respond.
I have to get back to work now and no more time wasting responses.
That sounds like a gratuitous snub to me. A strange attitude from someone
needing help...
