Looking for beginner's book

Someone asked me to recommend a good beginner's VBA book.
Any ideas other than an MVP website? Something the person
can purchase from Amazon or a book store?

Thanks.

Subjective, but my choice would be anything by Julitta Korol.
I found it easy to read with good examples (still use it occasionally
for reference).
And if I can understand it, anyone can!

Still need some responses - Julitta seems to write only
for Excel and Access programming. Need a beginner's VBA
book on Word. I'm sure all of you know, as well as I,
that Word VBA is quite different than Excel and Access VBA.

Thanks.

I started with Word 2000 Developer's Handbook by Guy Hart-Davis. I
found it a gold mine of information. Another book that was
surprisingly useful was VBA for Dummies by Steve Cummings.

I was wondering if there was a book for Dummies! Thanks.
I have the developer's handbook, but I wouldn't suggest it
for someone who doesn't have an actual programming
education.

Thanks for your input - I'll pass it along.

Thanks, Charlie.

I was wondering if there was a dummy book for vba!
I have the developer's handbook, but I wouldn't recommend
it for someone without programming experience.

Thanks again.

Yes, I started out with the Excel book by Julitta. But I see on Google
that she has Word books out as well.
I can't attest to their quality but, and again this is subjective, I
found that the Excel book started me off in the right direction. Going
to Word wasn't a huge leap (for me) as I found the basic VBA concepts
the same.
