Looking for documentation/tutorial on Excel C API

Hi,

I am a relative Excel Noob. But I have several years experience C/C++
and VBA. I am looking for an online resource for Excel C API programming
(preferably Excel 2005) - I cant seem to find any after several days of
googling. Can anyone recommend one?

PS: A site on Excel VBA objects will also be useful (I haven't looked
this up yet though - just thought I'd ask since I was posting a question
in here, where the gurus [hopefully] reside)

PPS: Is there an IRC group for Excel programmers/developers?
