I have adapted some of my Microsoft Access Visual Basic programs for the
Internet and placed them on a web site. Is it OK to mention a non-commercial,
non-proprietary, demo-only web site in this forum? I would appreciate some
feedback so I have added a contact link for that purpose: www.msaccessvb.com.
Thanks. -- Richard

It's ok to give a link to a non-commercial, non-proprietary demo when
answering someone's question if you think it would help solve their problem.
It's usually ok to give unsolicited links to free online tutorials on new
technologies if it matches the group's topic (say a link to a tutorial on
Access 2007's trust center in Access database security). But posting a link
to your website in a group dedicated to free peer to peer assistance without
giving any assistance is plain ol' spam.
