Looking for Low Cost Access Program

to help run our very very small Video Rental store. We have two computers
networked together and have approximately 3,000 videos and a very small
database of customers. We are currently running an outdated DOS video
program that is not longer made. We would like to use Microsoft Access to
run our own program, but have tried writing one without much success. Keep
getting hung up on the video our/in issue.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
TK

Hi TK,

You might be able to find someone on
http://rentacoder.com to develop your database for you.
You can also find programmers on that site who could
develop a front-end database application for you. I've
used the service (both as a programmer and a buyer) and
thought and have been very happy with the results I've had.

There might be some rental type modules at the Microsoft Access
Accounting Systems http://www.granite.ab.ca/accsacct.htm page.

A subform showing all the tapes available for a particular title with
conditional formatting to color code rented, in house and possibly reserved
is fairly easy.
