Looking for Prescription Rx symbol

Type 211E into your text, then use Alt+X.
U+211E is the character you're looking for in Unicode, and if you have a large Unicode font such as "Arial Unicode MS" installed, the character should appear.

In old versions (97, 2000), you may have to look up the character in "Insert > Symbol".
Alt+X = ToggleCharacterCode was new in Word2002.
