Looking for reviews of MS Access databases for the Palm OS

Hello,

Currently I used Biomobility's DataOnTheRun for the Pocket PC. It's a
little slow, but it does exactly what I need -- and it does it well.
Unfortunately, now I need to have the same thing for the Palm OS and,
unfortunately, DataOnTheRun is Pocket PC only.

Can anyone please point me to reviews of such software? There seem to
be dozens of these kinds of tools, but no where to go to research the
differences.

The main features that I need in the software is seamless
synchronization of databases, the ability to modify on the Palm or on
the PC, sorted list view, and form view.

If you don't know of any reviews (web sites or magazines), feel free to
post your two cents worth. You suggestions will be appreciated.

Well, I'm not sure if it's worth 2 cents, but...

I've been a fan of Smart Lists To Go (by Dataviz) since it was
ThinkDB (by ThinkingBytes). I use the program to keep track of
software registration, website passwords, course grades (when I
was teaching), and a contact list for my current job. Actually, I
also use it to keep track of my contract hours for the current
job.

I like the way it allows me to organize and create forms, and the
desktop program is useful (and apparently being upgraded later
this year). The syncing conduit is easy and makes mapping of
fields simple. And you can actually create your database or edit
forms on the desktop instead of just on the handheld.

Most importantly, I like the fact that it will directly sync with
MS Access databases, where many others only sync with a
spreadsheet.

If I were told that I could only have two third party programs on
my handheld, Smart List to Go definitely would be one of them. The
other'd probably be Wordsmith - or maybe Freecell.

Don't forget to take a look at HanDbase at http://www.ddhsoftware.com

It runs on both PocketPC and Palm. Has multiple levels of synchronization
with desktop databases from simple access sync to full scale ODBC
synchronization to a server based database. You can even beam records
from a PocketPC to a Palm.

I haven't used it but I have been stewing on the whole thing for a while
and that would be the first one I would try for real business level use.

Ah, I see they finally added direct sync functionality for MS
Access databases with HandDBase Pro. If they'd have had that a few
years back, I probably would have given them more consideration
before I bought ThinkDB.
