Looking for Sample Outlook Addin

B

I am looking for a basic example of a COM Add-in for Outlook, as well as
instructions on registration, etc. Can someone recommend a site or a book? I
have googled and have not found anything of value. Any recommendations would
be appreciated.

I looked around on Microeye as Jeff suggessted, and found this Outlook COM
Add-in template:

I too have made some progress, using the VB template and a sample add-in
from Microeye. My Add-in is installed and working! Thanks for all of the
help. Now if I can just tackle the problem of not being able to access the
contacts folder without that annoying popup.

If you are talking about the security popups, you need to check out Outlook
Redemption. I see it used a lot.

I ended up using the VB templates and working from there. I am working on
two add-in's. One add-in checks all of the emails in the inbox and compares
them against my contacts. Any that are not in my contact list are marked as
strangers for me to deal with later. This is a kind of quaritine for SPAM.
The other moves old emails to archive folders at 90, 60, 30 and 7 day
increments.

The code is not clean, not perfect and not done, but it's operable on Office
2000. It does not work in Office XP. I'd be willing to share it with others
that were in my boat looking for an example.
