Looking for (Visio U Excel) VBA code

I know Visio 2007 and Excel 2007 will be highly integrated, but I need *now*
to read an Excel XP/2003 sheet to automatically generate objects in Visio
2003. My understanding is that I need some VBA programming. I am NOT a VB
programmer, but I developed applications in many languages on many
platforms. I think I could manage it if I would be provided by some good
sample. Any piece of code around?

Thank you. By the way, I tried to use the Database Wizard add-on to link
Excel records to masters in a stencil, but when I load the Excel file I get
an empty list of tables as well as no fields. I am also puzzled because in
the list of possible DB format to load there are both «Excel files» and
«file of Microsoft Excel»! What's the difference? By the way, my Excel file
is

| field name 1 | field name 2 | field name 3 | field name 4 |
| rec1 fld1 val | rec1 fld2 val | rec1 fld3 val | rec1 fld4 val |
| rec1 fld2 val | rec2 fld2 val | rec2 fld3 val | rec2 fld4 val |
....
| recn fld1 val | recn fld2 val | recn fld3 val | recn fld4 val |

field 1 is the primary key for selecting the master (each different value
has to be linked to a different master in stencil)
field 3 is the value to be used for the text inside master once dropped on
page
