looking for Works 3.0 converter to Word 98

Hello. I'm helping a friend convert her 15 years of journals from Works
3.0 to something more current. I understand there is a converter in the
Word 98 value pac that will convert works 3.0 to word 98. That would be
a good start to get her to word 2004.

But I can't find that converter anywhere on the net. Can someone help?

Well, I haven't a clue how or whether these work, and I assume you have Word
98 to run them and that you know how to install them, but I dug out the
Office 98 installer CD and found in the Value Pack two text converters for
Works and zipped them and put them online.

By the way, once she is in Word 98, it's the same file format. No
conversion to Word 2004 is necessary, they will just open fine. But the
next version after 2004 *will* have a new file format.

I suppose that manually converting 15 years worth of journals would take
quite some time. Francis, maybe you should consider buying MacLinkPlus, a
conversion tool by Dataviz. It offers batch converting, and Works 3.0 is one
of the many supported file formats. Here's the link:
