Lookup between tools

I'm trying to do a forms lookup between two tools in a single workspace, but
the only option I have in the lookup dialog is "This Tool". This is a
problem in Groove 2007, because I have Groove 3.1 working on another
machine, and it finds all tools within the same space for a lookup. There
seems to be a new view option in Groove 2007 to "Allow this view to provide
data to lookups from other tools", but I have this checked already, and
still can't do the lookup on this tool. And I need it in Groove 2007 because
I can't edit a 2007 form in 3.1.

Is this a bug, or is there something else I need to set to enable the lookup
across tools?

Hi Rob -

Yes, there's something else.

In the 'source' tool you need to click an option thats easily missed:

Open the design
Click "Settings and options" on the design object pane
In the Feature options list, make sure "Allow this tool to provide data
lookups..." is checked.

You''ve already found the "Allow this view to provide data to lookups from
other tools" opttion on the Options tab of your views, which I'm mentioning
for completeness.
