Lookup field in table

Is it possible to code the lookup properties of a field to get values from
another databases table?

I am trying to lookup data from the SchoolsDB, tblSchool field.

I would just link to the tables in other database and run a query or use a
form's ControlSource to lookup/edit the data.

File -> Get external data -> Link tables, then browse for the other database
and select the tables to link.
