lookup function

I am trying to seek info from a set of sheets by useing
lookup function :if exact. I can't get info but from one
sheet and the first cell has to be in accending order. I
would like it to not be in accending order and seek
through a set of sheets.
Is this posable?

Hi

Yes it is possible.. Please use vlookup/Hlookup functions
in help. these functions do not need the source data to be
in any particular order.
