I have created a table to hold employee incentive information...when I enter
the employee name, I want the next field in the table to automatically
populate the employee number based on the employee name so that I don't have
to manually enter that information. Then, I can build my query and link
various tables by the employee number. How can this be done? I have tried
to do this as a lookup field, but it seems to want to hold all of the
information in one field instead of two.
Any and all help would be appreciated!
