Lookup in Queries

Hi,

I have a field with a lookup data type. I created a query
based on that table but is it possible for me to have the
lookup capability in that query too? instead of only
having it in table format.

I was told to right click and select properties on that
field in query. On lookup tab, select combo box. The list
of values appeared however i couldnt select them in
datasheet view. The status bar indicates that "This
Recordset is not updateable". How can i update the record?

Can some1 kindly help me with this?
