Hi,
I am creating a contract signature tracking dbase to track the status of
contracts as they come into the Legal Dept. for signature. I want to make a
data access page or some other form available to our sales force so they can
check status. I want them to be able to filter by client name.
I've created a table of client names to be used as a lookup table in the
data entry form. The purpose of course is to maintain consistency with the
client names.
I've read a few posts here and somewhat understand the issues associated
with lookups, but is that referring to lookup tables or lookup fields in a
table? How do I best use the client lookup table in a form? I've created a
combo box which points back to the client lookup table but I think I've
created an erroneous join because I'm getting numbers added to the client
lookup table. Any best practices that anyone can suggest?
Thank you.
