Lookups

I have been doing quite a bit with lookups and getting them to work quite
well. The problem is, is that it is a hit and miss afair. Can someone in
plain english explain how it actually works?

If you are using Groove 2007 Beta then they do not work. See listing in
/public/groove/formsdev.

Are you using G3?
