looping movies as background?

I want to place a looping quicktime movie on a slide in a presentation
and have other text elements visible on top of the movie whilst it is
playing.

I can insert the movie and set it to loop and self start ok, but when
its running the movie brings itself forward on the slide, on top of
any other elements, irrespective of the fact that it has been set to
be behind all the other elements on the slide.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
Jim

Hi Jim,

Your observation is correct. Movies are always "on top." If you would like
to suggest that the behavior be changed please send a note to Microsoft
using the Feedback option on PowerPoint's help menu.

You can add text to movies in iMovie.
