Looping presentation with hyperlink to custom show

I have a looping main presentation that has a button with a hyperlink to a custom show located within the main presentation. Because the presentation is looping once the custom show is called it now continues to loop until the ESC key is pressed. Is there a way to only have the custom show run once and then return to the main show without the requirement of pressing the ESC key?

I am using PowerPoint 2010.
