Suggest you check Access Help carefully the differences between Format
Property and InputMask Property. For InputMask Property, pay particular
attention to the option whether to save the mask in the Field values or not.
FWIW, you cannot enter / edit data in a Union Query so the InputMask doesn't
matter / apply in the Union Query since InputMask is only used when you
enter / edit data.
