Losign settings in Gloabl.MPT

I use Project Server 2002. I consider myself an advanced Project
user. I had created a macro that I assigned to a custom button.
Then one day, the button is no longer there. It disappeared. Upon
further inspection, I noticed that all of my custom views (including
my custom macro) are gone when I look at the Global.MPT in the
Organizer. Since some of these views are also stored in my project
files, I simply drug one of them over (with the table and filter)
to the Global.MPT. But when I closed Project, the view is gone again.

I have tried this in variations repeatedly, including reboots. This
occurs when working either online or offline. Any ideas?

UPDATE:

While I cannot trace the cause of the original loss to my GLBOAL.MPT
settings, I can add this information. If I create NEW views and move them
over to the Global.mpt, they do save. However, the one view I was monitoring
during my save and close troubleshooting will not save. I must conclude
that view is somehow "corrupted". I have re-created it with a modified name
and it remains saved.
