If the users have free access to edit the document at
will, then bookmarks can be deleted (a bookmark will be
deleted just like text if it's selected and overwritten).
There are, however, several other ways to either have
your users edit the document, or to note locations for
actions in your script... all of them quite simple
solutions, but I need a little more information to help
you effectively.
Can you give me a bit of detail on what the script is
using bookmarks for, and how\why users are editing those
same locations?
