Losing Conditional Formatting with Script

The Conditional Formatting problem with managed code is at large in my
current Inforpath script solution.

All was well with the dropdown combo on a secondary data source until I
started using 'The Expression'. since then the formatting is present in the
XSL view but does not appear in the designer.
