I'm currently working with a Word 2007 document created from scratch.
I have some figures originally made directly in word with the drawing tools
available (mainly boxes, arrows and text).
At two times one of these pictures have disappeared completely - or rather
the contents of the pictures, the picture frames seems to remain -, as far as
I can tell during a normal save.
The first time I couldn't be sure wether I had done some inadvertant cut or
delete, but the second time I was aware of the trouble, and was carful about
it.
It should be mentioned that both illustrations had fgure texts adjoined to
them. Neither of those disappeared.
I take this is a bug, or what else can it be?
Needless to say this makes Words drawing tools virtually useless to me, so
right now I'm replacing the figures with pictures made in a drawing program
(emf-files to be precise). I regret to say I have severe trouble with the
positioning of these pictures, which I intend to ask about in another thread.
Sincerely
SI
