Losing functional bands

I have created a visio flowchart using cross functional bands. When I save my
file, the bands are there. But when I open the file they are gone. Any ideas
what is happening? I am using a template but other docs using same template
are fine. I am currently running Visio Professional 2002.

I seem to recall some issue like that in Visio 2002. Make sure you have
Service Pack 2 installed to see if that addresses the problem.
