Losing lookup data when a form is submitted to SharePoint

Hi

I have an InfoPath form, which uses a secondary data source to lookup
up values to fields. When I submit the form it publishes to the
Sharepoint site, however, when I re-open the form from the library,
the looked up values have disappeared.

I guess this is becuase the lookup data is no longer in the cache. Is
there any way to retain the lookup values?

Here's a little more information:

Field A is a drop down which is populated from the first field on a
secondary database
When a selection is made from field A, field B should be populated
with the second field on the secondary database
Field C should be populated with the third feld from the secondary
database, and so on...

The fields in the InfoPath form are populated, and submitted to
SharePoint, but when I re-open the form, field B, C, etc have lost
their values.
