On several occasions, I've lost changes that I had implemented in a Word
document even though it was properly saved.
Once it was a large number of Track Changes that simply vanished, even
on a copy of that particular document that was backed up on an external
drive.
Another example is two files that I copied from two related PDFs and
saved as RTF.
One of them looks fine, including the font I assigned it (Times New
Roman) while the other has reverted to Courier and lost all the bold
text I had created.
Here again, the saved and backed up copy on the external drive as been
similarly affected.
Does anybody have any clue as to what could be causing this?
I'm on OS X 10.2.8, and Word X with all the proper patches applied.
