I use Project Server 2002. I consider myself an advanced Project user. I
had created a macro that I assigned to a custom button. Then one day, the
button is no longer there. It disappeared. Upon further inspection, I
noticed that all of my custom views (including my custom macro) are gone when
I look at the Global.MPT in the Organizer. Since some of these views are
also stored in my project files, I simply drug one of them over (with it’s
table and filter) to the Global.MPT. But when I closed Project, the view is
gone again.
I have tried this in variations repeatedly, including reboots. This occurs
when working either online or offline. Any ideas?
